Here’s the thing…
I believe there’s something missing from Yoga Teacher and Sound Healer trainings.
You learn, you practice, and feel ready to share your magic…
But nobody teaches you how to use your voice in a way that feels sustainable, authentic, and truly you.
How to find your authentic teaching voice (or what that even really means!)
How to adjust your tone so that it matches your intention.
How to articulate and ‘project’ so that your students can hear you (without changing your accent, and without shouting!)
Techniques to free your sound, so you can explore the full range of your voice.
How to take care of your voice when you’re teaching several classes and workshops every week.
This course was created to be the missing link between the amazing practices you have to share, and the voice you use to do so.
The Embodied Teaching Voice
DATE AND LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON
This one day CPD will cover:
The anatomy of the voice and vocal health (so that you understand what’s happening when your voice is tired or lost, and how you can get better quicker!)
Techniques for freeing your sound and being heard without straining (enabling your voice to feel expressive and really land with your students/ clients).
Connecting to your voice in an embodied way, including the voice-vagus nerve connection (supporting your own regulation and the felt safety in spaces you hold).
How the tools you already share, like Yoga and other modalities like Pilates, can SUPPORT your voice (empowering you in the knowledge that you HAVE the tools you need!).
This course is designed for Yoga Teachers, Sound Healers, Pilates Instructors, or anyone else who holds space for others and uses their voice. No prior voice training is required.
You will be able to register CPD hours with Yoga Pros (previously Yoga Alliance Professionals).
All resources will be provided on the day. However you may wish to bring a notebook and pen. Please do bring a packed lunch.

Hi, I’m Eleanor! I’m a Vocal Coach, Experienced Yoga Teacher (EYT) and Sound Healer. I am currently a Master’s Researcher in Voice with the Voice Study Centre where my focus is Yoga for Singers. Alongside my private practice, I lecture in spoken voice at two respected drama schools for training actors, and draw upon a decade of experience as a theatre performer and facilitator.
