ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Eleanor

I am a Vocal Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Sound Healer, helping people heal their relationship with their voice, body, and creative spirit.

My journey
My work draws on a decade in the theatre industry as an actor, singer, teacher, and facilitator, alongside holding space as a yoga teacher and sound healer.

Who I work with
I primarily work with singers and speakers, combining these ancient practices with research-based vocal technique to offer a holistic, embodied approach to spoken and sung voice work that supports your intention. I am currently researching the impact of incorporating yoga practice into voice pedagogy (sometimes called “vocal yoga”) as part of my MA with the Voice Study Centre.

Experience and clients
I am an Associate Lecturer of Voice at Performers College and Mountview Birmingham and have worked with many local arts organisations, alongside coaching voice privately for actors, singers, yoga teachers, and sound healers. My clients come for many reasons, from developing vocal technique sustainably to reconnecting with their authentic sound.

Yoga and Sound Healing
Alongside coaching voice, I continue to guide yoga classes and sound baths across Birmingham, the surrounding area, and online.

A little more about me
I’m an Aries with a Virgo Moon, married to an Aquarius, and we live with our cavapoo in the West Midlands, UK. I’m vegetarian, and a 1/3 Mental Projector in Human Design.

I hold an enhanced DBS and am fully insured. I have completed both First Aid and Mental Health First Aid training. 

I am an accredited member of The Yoga Pros (Previous Yoga Alliance Professionals UK).
