Holistic Voice Coaching for Women
If the body keeps the score, the voice sings the score.
My method of vocal coaching combines vocal yoga, breath-work and voice practice, approaching the voice as a healing tool.
We know that moving our bodies helps us process, release and regenerate…
We also know that vibration and frequency are incredibly powerful tools that can help us to heal emotional, physical or spiritual distress.
So why don’t we apply these principles to our voices?
Because your voice isn’t just sound. It’s a reflection of you: mind, body and spirit.
Through approaching voice somatically, from the inside out, this work goes beyond learning to hold a tune. This isn’t about pushing, forcing or perfecting technique. It’s about supporting your nervous system, finding your authentic sound, and feeling grounded and safe enough to harness the voice as a sacred tool for true embodiment and self expression.
This is the foundation from which your voice can grow.
Sessions may include mindful movement, breathwork, sound healing, vocal exploration, journaling and other embodied practices that nurture your voice and your whole self.
Work with me as your Holistic Voice Coach
My work is designed for those who are interested in exploring their voices on a deeper level, whether for their own healing or to share their voice with others.
If you’re new to voice work it will unlock a powerful way to creatively connect with and express yourself.
If you’re someone who performs, it will help you to bridge the gap between your emotional life, artistry, and technique.
Basically: you don’t need previous experience, but it’s ok if you do too!
If you’re looking for singing lessons for someone under 18, Holistic Voice Coaching isn’t right for you. However, I may still be able to help- find out more here.
Please note: Whilst my voice work is sometimes therapeutic in nature, is not a replacement for therapy. If you are experiencing mental ill health, it is recommended you speak to a qualified mental health professional before participating.

Frequently Asked Questions

Holistic Voice Coaching blends traditional vocal training with practices like Vocal Yoga, somatics, meditation, and sound healing. Unlike conventional lessons that focus only on technique, this approach centres you, not just the sound you’re trying to make, connecting mind-body-breath-and voice to support your sound and your wellbeing.
-
Vocal yoga combines yogic breathing, poses, meditations and mantras with traditional vocal exercises. By integrating mind and body into your voice practice, you’ll develop a freer, more resonant voice and feel more embodied and confident in both singing and speaking. No. Holistic Voice Coaching is for anyone who wants to explore their voice with intention. 1:1 sessions are tailored to your experience and goals. Group sessions will be open-level unless advertised otherwise.

If we’re working 1:1, I recommend starting with my 12 week Holistic Voice Immersion which includes 6 fortnightly sessions. Weekly drop-ins or one-off lessons can feel good in the moment, but they rarely create lasting change. And when sessions go on indefinitely, it’s easy to lose momentum or accountability. This 12-week/ 6 session container offers the best of both worlds as it gives you a clear structure, a sense of progression, and enough time to create meaningful, embodied change. There are then options for less regular drop ins such as the Holistic Voice MOT.

The speaking voice and the singing voice use the same instrument, Whilst in the past they’ve often been separated, I believe that the benefits of my approach are the same for speakers and singers. As a lecturer of spoken voice at two UK drama schools, I am well placed and happy to discuss working with you on your spoken voice.

Yes, absolutely! All of the modalities I share within my practice can support you to regulate the nervous system and shift your mindset. I am also a trauma informed practitioner.
